Everything Old is New Again

The future always seems to be a reflection of the past. Old clothing styles come back again. Some of them are a good idea and some of them are not so much. In other words, if you hang on to something long enough, it will come back in style again at some point. Well, maybe not the pet rock but most everything else seems to come back around.
For ages people have come to the United States and brought parts of their culture along with the, As the get their US Green Cards or US Visas after the toil of the US Immigration forms they go on to impart a piece of their heritage in the area where they live. That makes their house of the future a combination of the old world where they came from and the new world where they are living. It is a conglomerate of things that show where they came from and where they are going.
It is this diversity that makes a great country, like the Unites States of America, such a great place. The cultural diversity where folks that would be enemies in their native lands can be simply neighbors who enjoy one another.
Things that these people bring with them as they pass the tests associated with the US Immigration Forms as they journey towards citizenship and obtaining the coveted US Visa or US Green Card will ultimately find their way into the new way of life that they are forging and as a result they will form the new basis for traditions that will be passed down to the next generation to build upon.
Some of those traditions might be cultural, religious or even simply structural, as in how a home is decorated or laid out. Various areas of the world have customs that spill out into home design which can easily affect how they design or decorate the abode where they make their new home in another country. Those will undoubtedly be combined with the things that their children pick up in this country and will be turned into a new conglomerate for their grand children and beyond.
People often don’t realize just how precious tradition is until they attempt to immigrate into another culture or country such as the United States. As they study and fill in the US Immigration Forms they realize that the US Green Card is the end result of the journey where they leave their home land and start a new life here. As they get their US Visas they then start new chapters where they keep as much of their past as they can and embrace the new surroundings and do what they can to fit in while still maintaining some amount of who they are in their new life style and new environment..
It is a great example of how cultures that are vastly different from one another can come together to form a comfortable mixture of old and new and start a new tomorrow.
